Is there anything better than listening to a Teddy Swims song on a cold winter day? I think not. It’s like a warm hug for my ears. This song has been playing on repeat while I’ve been making Canva graphics in preparation for the release of You Cake My Breath Away on 2.11.
I’ve been listening to the Onyx Storm soundtrack while making graphics, but I have to admit that I’m not able to listen to anything other than the Pride & Prejudice soundtrack or instrumental string music while I’m writing. However, I’ve been slowly compiling a playlist on Spotify of songs that remind me of Archer and Tilly. Look out for that soon!
Below I have updates and the reveal of some character art I had commissioned!
Events
If you’re local to San Antonio or Austin, I’ll be doing the You Cake My Breath Away launch at our local indie bookstore, Nowhere Bookshop. The wonderful Etta Easton(author of The Kiss Countdown) and I will be chatting about my new release and her upcoming one(The Love Simulation). Conversation starts at 6pm CST.
If you can’t make it, I’ll hopefully be able to go live and have someone watching out for any questions.
If you can’t make it to the launch event at Nowhere Bookshop, I’ll be at Barnes & Noble on February 8th at 2pm to sign books. You can grab a copy of You Cake My Breath Away and also one of my other books while you’re there!

Character Art
You scrolled down immediately to see what the art was, didn’t you?
I want to tell you a little bit about this particular scene. For those who aren’t familiar with the story yet, Tilly is a widow who has to work with her late husband’s grumpy best friend to get her dream bakery ready to open. This scene is closer to the end of the story after Tilly has finally decided it’s time to move forward with Archer. It’s also the calm before the storm, that blissful moment where you’re excited about what’s to come yet scared of the future.
Thank you to the amazing Emi Dragonetti for the beautiful artwork! I’ll be revealing this artwork on my IG page next week, so please keep it to yourself!
