Today my dreams came true.
Truth time: I never imagined I’d be a writer. I was going to school for sign language interpreting up until I met my husband and we moved halfway across the country from MD to TX with the military. The closest interpreting degree to me was four and a half hours away, and there was no way at 9 months pregnant that I was going to move again.
It wasn’t until my husband deployed in 2018 that I had an idea come to me while rocking my kid to sleep and scrolling IG. I searched for WEEKS to find this story I thought I had watched or read, but to no avail, I couldn’t find it. It still took about three weeks until I realized that this was my creative well filling.
Fast forward to 2021 after I’ve written and queried three or four books(in a different genre), been agented and dropped, and turned to self-pub to ensure this story gets out there. Here we are now.
Self-publishing takes a level of courage and vulnerability I never imagined, but I am humbled by all of the support and encouragement I’ve had from other writers, readers, and reviewers. You guys have been amazing! This book was taxing to write because of the emotionality of Jameson’s mental health battle, but knowing that it’ll hopefully land in the hands of someone who needs to hear the words “it’s okay to need help”, makes it all worth it.
How can you help?
I’d be so appreciative if you guys could help me make a big splash today by doing the following things:
If you haven’t already, Buy a copy of The Bottom Line or request it from your local library or Indie bookstore.
If you’ve read already, PLEASE review it on Amazon (they don’t start promoting books until they have 50 reviews, so this is the biggest battle!)

Here's a blurb you can also add to it or write up your own!
The Bottom Line asks the question, “What if it was OKAY for men to have mental health struggles and to be accepted and encouraged to get help rather than be seen as weak?” This steamy, enemies-to-lovers, workplace romance features Stella, a stretched-too-thin financial advisor trying to save her Pop-Pop’s funeral home, and Jameson, a bossy Brit who is dealing with a mental health battle while trying to impress his CEO father by getting a big client at their investment firm. As most enemies-to-lovers go, they must overcome the differences between them, but with the added element of mental health struggles, it gives a poignant look at how we as a society view men, masculinity, and mental health.
OR
This enemies to lovers brings the fire with a tenacious, ball-busting heroine who won't give up and a cinnamon roll disguised as an alpha in need of a little support. Come along for the ride as one bossy Brit tries to keep his heart and his secrets from the headstrong woman destined to break down his walls.
Where can I find The Bottom Line?
