It’s FINALLY release day for You Cake My Breath Away!! How did we get here already?!?! It feels like Christmas and the release of Gnome One Like You was just last week! I hope that the beginning of the year has been great for everyone and that you’ve been making your way through your TBR in preparation for my newest story!
For those of you who are new here, You Cake My Breath Away is the third book in my WordPlay Series. It follows a widow who finds out her late husband bought her a bakery before he passed but she has to renovate the fixer-upper with his grumpy best friend.
It’s a love letter to anyone experiencing grief and struggling to move on.

I just hit 50k in Rosay’s story! This story is definitely turning out a lot steamier than my previous stories, and let me tell you, I am here for it. Rosay and Graham match each other’s fire, and their banter has been some of my favorite to write. I’m hoping to get back to working on it now that You Cake My Breath Away is out in the world, so wish me luck!
I’m also going to start outlining my next holiday release, so look out for more on that!
Snacks
Y’all…I love pineapple and coconut. They’re two of my favorite fruits, and also my favorite flavors of alcohol(Don’t judge me and my Malibu). I made these over the weekend, and though I forgot to add the heavy whipping cream to the pan, they were still yummy and filled with flavor. The way the pineapple and coconut merge together are perfect!
This is a MESSY dessert! Make no mistake, fingers will be wet, and they will be licked! You can make this as a log dessert if you don’t want to cut them into rolls(like cinnamon rolls), just make sure you pinch the ends so the stuffing doesn’t leak out.
Writing Hacks
Being that it’s a release month, I don’t have any useful writing hacks! However, here is an article aptly named “44 Writing Hacks from Some of the Greatest Writers Who Ever Lived”.
